What to Expect

Ultrasound technology allows us to safely and accurately assess the location of previously administered cosmetic products beneath the skin. During the procedure, a handheld ultrasound device is gently moved across the treatment area to provide a detailed, real-time view of the underlying tissue.This imaging enables the practitioner to:

Visualise the location and depth of product
Identify any irregularities or migration
Safely guide the dissolving agent to the exact area, minimising risk to surrounding structures (if medically appropriate after)

By using ultrasound guidance, we can offer a more precise and conservative approach to correction, reducing the need for guesswork and enhancing overall safety. This is particularly valuable in delicate or anatomically complex areas, such as the under-eye region or lips.
