TGA and AHPRA NOTICE

At Aesthetics At Alike, your safety and confidence are our highest priorities. In 2023, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) introduced updated advertising restrictions to help protect clients seeking cosmetic procedures. AHPRA will be introducing new, stricter guidelines, which will strengthen safeguards across the industry when they come into effect on 2 September 2025. We strictly adhere to these guidelines to ensure all information shared is compliant and responsible.
Following any injectable treatment, you will be provided with written documentation including:
- The name of the clinician who performed the procedure
- The prescriber of the injectable
- Contact information for follow-up
- The prescribed medication and quantities used
- A copy of your signed consent form
Our Policy
Nurse injector appointments where an initial script is likely to be requested are only to occur when a prescribing doctor is onsite, to ensure a full, informed, and appropriate script can be potentially provided to the client.
Prescriptions are required for toxin or filler substances. Our policy is for scripts to be drafted in Zenoti by the nurse injector, with the doctor signing off within the Zenoti platform. Dosage and prescribing doctor details will also be entered into our S4 record book. Monthly meetings are held to confirm that all scripts have been reconciled and properly documented.
Doctor scripts for a nurse injector are active for that client and that substance for six months from the date of the initial script. Any changes to the drug type or prescriptions beyond those six months will require a new script.
Prescribing Doctor Availability
- Monday: 10:00am – 4:30pm
- Wednesday: 10:00am – 4:30pm

Due to these regulations, we are unable to display certain product names, treatment terms, prices, or detailed descriptions—particularly those relating to prescription-only medications and procedures—on our website or in any public advertising. For more specific information or to have your questions answered in full, we encourage you to book a personalised consultation with our experienced team.
To ensure you understand our responsibilities and your rights, we recommend reviewing the Medical Board of Australia – Guidelines for Registered Medical Practitioners Who Perform Cosmetic Surgery and Procedures
